About
A barn-raising, in software form.
Regenerative agriculture is one of the few things doing real work at the intersection of food, climate, and rural livelihood. The farmers doing it are mostly figuring it out alone, on land they may not own, while sorting through paperwork written for a different era.
Common Acres exists to make that less lonely and less expensive. We curate every meaningful federal program — EQIP, CSP, SARE, REAP, organic cost-share, the new IRA clean-energy credits — and explain them in plain English with the deadlines and the source link. We host a directory so producers practicing similar systems can actually find each other. And we run a shared notebook where the cover-crop mix that worked in your soil can help a stranger in the next watershed.
It's free. It always will be for individual farmers. The platform is built and maintained by people who think America's regenerative farmers are doing some of the most important work in the country and deserve infrastructure that matches.
